I made it!
I had to wait 2 freaking hours in customs though!
Wonder how many times my bag went round the bag collection :P
Got to the hotel, had some food and went to bed (at around 6am our time!!!).

First day went well!
Rode the tram, saw some sea lions, had ice cream, went on a submarine and took Lucky the dog for a walk.

Today we rented bikes and cycled over the gate bridge.
Which was fairly tiring :P
Then we took a ferry over to Alcatraz!
The plan was to rent a car today but we were late and it closed, whoops!

Monterey

Not done too much today.
Picked up the car and drove down highway 1 to Monterey.
Checked the place out and had some food at Bubba Gump.
Turns out I suck at putting sun lotion on (see picture) so a little burnt!

Aquarium + other animal stuff

So today we went to a very cool aquarium where we saw plenty of fish, sea otters and octopuses.
We then made our way to San Simeon on highway 1.

Made a few pit stops, there was a cool beach with a waterfall, a vista with very friendly squirrel's and a whole beach full of elephant seals!

I love animals so for me this was a very good day! :DMeer informatie

San Simeon

Today we saw Hearst's castle which was more like a mansion although very impressive on the inside!
When he was alive he had his own personal zoo so when he died they were mostly sent to zoos but some they couldn't catch.
So on the way out we got to see zebras just chilling with the cows!

We also went to our first Walmart today, which I was more excited over than Hywel...

Got to feed ostriches and emus! Food doesn't last long with them..
We also stopped at a small missile park which was kind of cool.

Now in Los Angeles, it was a long drive but it's Disney time tomorrow :DMeer informatie

Disney!

Today was all about Disney :)
I didn't take too many photos but had a good day.
Park was open from 9-9 (long day!) And we pretty much went on all of the good rides.
I managed to lose my phone so was a bit stressed but luckily it was in lost and found, phew!

We went to the rainforest cafe to eat which was a first for both of us, it was pretty cool in there.

Overall a good but tiring day!Meer informatie

Hollywood

To start the day we went to Griffith observatory.
This was pretty cool, we got to see the city below as well as the Hollywood sign.
We also saw planetarium show which was fun although made me a bit sleepy.

Then we went down to Hollywood...
I didn't really enjoy this bit so much, there were too many people as well as religious people with signs telling me to repent.
The hand print section was pretty cool but overall it's just another city.Meer informatie

San Diego zoo

The zoo was fun!
We bought back stage tickets which was an extra £80 (Hywel reluctantly agreed) but we got to see a few animals up close.
We also got to feed flamingos which was awesome and a giraffe.

We only went to the zoo as its one of the best and I can see why.
Favorite animal of the day had to be flamingos!
They were so funny when they came out of their pen for food.

On our way to our next destination (Palm Springs) we stopped by a mall where I bought awesome pokemon socks from hot topic!

Then we stopped at a beach to chill out for a bit and then onwards to Palm Springs!

Stopped by some dinosaurs to take a few pictures then we got to our motel, used the pool and relaxed.Meer informatie

Viva Las Vegas!

The day started with seeing what we think is a Google driverless car.
From there we bought some space Jersey and saw the world's largest thermometer.
Then we went to a sand dune, Hywel went up at the top, I didn't...

Then onwards to our very fancy hotel in Las Vegas, went to a nice all you can eat buffet and then enjoyed the lights on our way back to the hotel.Meer informatie

So we chose to have a chill out day today which was nice as I had gotten Hywels cold :(

Chilled out near the pool, did some gambling (won like $60 but then lost most of it :P ) then went to see circus de soleil love which was a bit crazy but fun :)Meer informatie

Grand Canyon

First stop was Hoover Dam, was pretty cool although not sure why it has so many visitors...

Then on wards towards the grand canyon but we stopped by Bedrock to see the Flintstones first!
It was OK I think we paid $5 each so wasn't expecting anything amazing.
There was a friendly goat there so I was happy.

Then we got to the Grand Canyon and it was pretty impressive.
We stopped for awhile took some photos and just enjoyed the view :)Meer informatie

Death valley is hot... really hot :|
So the temperature got to around 43C which is way too hot for me.
It didn't help I was feeling quite ill this day :(

Sequoia National Park

Home of the giant Sequoia's, I learnt a lot about this tree on this trip :P

Apart from that there was lots of pretty views, got to drive through one of the trees and I saw a bear!
