    Tried to get an early start but it wasn’t meant to be. Go down only to be confronted with unrideable surface. Long push up. Followed by lovely pavement and then another down to go up. And why are we seeing zebras? Enough of that and on to the main road. Another down and up through small town but rewarded with a lovely windmill. Big down into a town for lunch. Skies are stormy and boomers all around. Duck into a bus stop as skies open up. A break in the weather and we are riding again. This time through forested terrain.
