Rest stop north of Jasper turn off

Drove until 7:30pm. Dinner of beef sausages and instant mash potatoes. Delish. Slept in rrst stop just off the road north of the turnoff to Jasper. Stop for a bowl of cereal at a nice rest stop just west of Dome Creek headed to Prince George.
From Prince George, drove to Dawson Creek, the start of the Alcan. Had a beer at Post & Row Taphouse. They said they are opening a brewery this summer. Then drive to Fort St John. Had a beer at Beards Brewing. No food offered. Drove to Inga Lake about 30 miles west of Fort St. John’s. Great stop with empty campsites around a frozen lake.Read more
