Day 38 Good Friday Procession
Day started off with a trip to the airport to collect Caris. Very happy mummy catching up on hugs!
Headed to Zejtun to see a Good Friday procession depicting the story of Jesus up to his crucifixion. The statues are huge and carried through the village by local men in white drapes.
It is quite a slow and sombre affair with bands playing slow marches. The costumes are immaculate and the actors (local villagers) are not allowed to smile.Read more
