Day 42: Windy whistle stop bus tour

Explored the whole of the southwest area of Malta on an open top 'hop on hop off' bus tour!
Ghar Dalam cave is one of the oldest caves on the island dating back to Neanderthal man where lots of animal skeletons have been found. The museum had a room full of bones!
Blue grotto cave is a natural wonder with crystal clear blue waters. The sea was too rough today to take a boat trip inside so walked along the sea cliffs and into the cove.
Hagar Qim and Mnajdra are two prehistoric temples built they believe with altars that are illuminated during the summer and winter solstice.Les mer
