Trip to Peschiera and Sirimone

Leisurely morning after a turbulent nights sleep with Jenni! As predicted the thunderstorms came but had cleared by lunchtime so off we set to visit Peschiera. Jenni and Megan helping Sue navigate the roads and Julie and Gilly with Lynne. As Gill doesn't know her left from right she wasn't much help! Arrived to find it was market day so the car park we had planned to meet was taken up with market stalls! After an italian late lunch by the river we moved on to Sirmione and took a boat ride round the peninsula. Walked up to Grotte Di Catullo - the remains of the largest and best preserved Roman villa with panoramic views that once had a thermal bath system.
