Siem Reap

Off to Siem Reap with a stop-off at an ancient Kmer complex known as Koh Ker. It was briefly the capital of the Khmer empire in the 10thC. There are still some structures in the forest made inaccessible by landmines. The star attraction is the pyramid shaped temple called Prasat Thom.
We have been treated to a hotel in Siem Reap that is fresh, clean, modern and has adequate lighting no less. There were a couple of shopping expeditions (amongst the group) in the afternoon.Læs mere
