So much amazing history, you must be close to the Petermann Ranges which were formed 600 million years ago and I think around during the cryogenia ice age. I'm tempted to go and have a look myself. If you do get to the Petermann Ranges I'd love a little bit 😁

At Glen Helen Gorge, the West Macdonnell ranges part to make way for the Finke River. This permanent waterhole is an important refuge for many species in the hot summer months.
