Sunset scenes

The place I'm staying tonight is a country pub. The views are spectacular in daylight but, as the sun began to go down, an evening stroll was a must!
The 'castle' ruins just a five minute walk down the hill are actually the ruins of the building that housed two huge steam powered beam engines. These engines powered blowers that kept the fires of three blast furnaces roaring for the short lived Ridsdale Ironworks.Read more
