These irises were enormous! I’ve never seen anything like them.

By accident, I found the Tour Saint-Jacques, a landmark along the chemins de Compostelle.

So many cafes, brasseries, patisseries, bars, crêperies, etc.! Love the flair on this one.

Lovely fruit. I didn’t see as many of these as I have noticed in NYC, though.

I wonder how long the paving stones on which I walked have been there?
