Successo! (24 hours later)

A very, very long day of travel but I am ensconced in my little apartment in Siena. I had forgotten that 2nd floor means 3rd floor in Europe. This year’s luggage is much heavier than last year’s!

Aside from a train reroute/delay, the travel went smoothly. I was VERY grateful to have a window seat on the plane, and also thankful that the screaming baby on the OKC-DFW flight wasn’t on the flight to Rome.

I hope to get a good night’s sleep so I can have some adventures tomorrow. Undecided what that will be - it’s supposed to be hot here tomorrow so I may not walk as much as I’d hoped.
