    A post-Venice water lily painting I hadn't seen before
    One of my Venice favorites was by Paul SignacPhoto doesn't do it justice, but you can tell exactly what these petunias feel like!There was a whole series of this couple along this street11So many weird flowersI love how these leaves look like someone painted leaves on them.

    I went to the DeYoung Fine Arts Museum, where they have an exhibit of Monet in Venice. Very inspiring. Then I walked around the beautiful park/botanical gardens around the museum and ended up at the conservatory of flowers. Unbelievable collection of plants there!

    I didn’t document with pics but also visited two bookstores here. I’ve really enjoyed our time here. We head north tomorrow.    Read more
