I love the face.2This church was a little weird. Floating heads are cherubs??1There was a big (and weird) display made of cork on the way out.     Day off - trip to Spello

    After my hike and a little practice, my dear friend Wendy, who is spending a few days with me here, went with a friend/musician colleague to a nearby town. It’s very pretty but not as crowded as Assisi. We visited several churches, including one known for its remarkably preserved frescoes from 1501. No photos allowed, unfortunately. We also did a little shopping and had a beverage before heading back to Assisi for dinner. An excellent day off!Read more
