Celebrating 50 Years!

Enjoyed dinner at Louie’s Seafood and Steaks celebrating Mom & Dad’s 50th Anniversary! The food was delicious and plentiful! We brought home leftovers so that we could save room for dessert. Dad had the King Salmon, Rick and I had the Captains Platters with halibut, scallops, and jumbo prawns. Of course, Rick substituted the prawns. His was panko-style, and mine was sautéed. Mom had sautéed jumbo prawns. They had the BEST green beans cooked in bacon and onions!! Colt had chicken tenders and Barrett spaghetti. They were so well-behaved and grown up. I couldn’t have been prouder!! For dessert we shared a molten chocolate lava cake and raspberry cream brûlée. Barrett had moose tracks ice cream (is there a more appropriate Alaskan ice cream?), Colt had vanilla, and Rick had apple crisp. It was a wonderful evening!!Leggi altro
