    In the Med there are at least 26 words to describe the wind. Italy Mistral, Greece Meltimi, Africa Scirroco, and here in Croatia it’s called a Bora. We left the charter company’s safe harbour at day break in 10 knots, rounded an island and watched it increase up to 38 max. Fresh to frightening as Sharon Green would say. 40 miles later we landed on the west end of Korcula in Vela Luca, known for olive oil, vino, and the north home of Marco Polo. Happy crew enjoying the views, the town, and now watching AC races with a beautiful backdrop.

    The Bora strikes hard. Hold on tight ! 🌬️💨 Wind blew the top of if waves off... nearly 40 knots

    The passage from VIS was three hours, super glassy and we got here and are done with lunch by noon

    long day with very fertile valley off the end.
    The crew is pretty tight at this point. A Med tie takes four people, but everyone has their job down The quay is much much wider than the one on Vis , reminds me of a New York City sidewalk

    Last night in a small cove off Togri

    Our Last night we moored in a small isolated swimming cove, on on the mainland, within 3 miles of Split. We spent the afternoon
    Relaxing playing guitars Ukukle swimming and eating up all the leftover food. We also had a good cellar of wine to consume .

    The crew was well fed, and the Best music of Croatia Pop music was blasting. Mary gave us all Belly Dancing lessons. Watch the video. Oh how fun was that    Leia mais
