    Hopewell Rocks

    June 28, 2023 in Canada ⋅ 🌧 21 °C

We left Fundy National Park and headed to Cape Enrage to see their historical lighthouse.  Well, that was a bust. The fog was too thick to see the anything let alone the lighthouse. Hope the boats out in the bay could!

We continued on to Hopewell Rocks, still on the Bay of Fundy, which was a big hit!  These "rocks" are rock formations known as sea stacks or the flowerpot rocks and are caused by tidal erosion. It was low tide so we were able to walk amongst the rocks on the ocean floor. Very cool!

Met back up with Ed and Claudia at our friend's, Frank and Sandra, house just west of Moncton where we will stay for a few days.  Unfortunately, Frank had to have an unexpected operation and is in hospital.  Surgery went well but we won't be able to see him.
