    Mon 8 Apr. Tauranga NZ

    April 8 in New Zealand ⋅ ☀️ 19 °C

Before we left Taupo we were treated to another fabulous sunset as we sat on the deck of the Two Mile Sailing Club, after Mrs WT had increased her pitch and putt wins to 2-0, with two holes in one 😄😄

On the way to Tauranga we stopped at Rotarua, it has a lot of geothermal activity so a lot of sulphur, it's still as smelly as we remembered, we also had a quick stop at Okere Falls where we saw a Tui singing away in the trees.

When we got to the Airbnb the hosts had put the flag out for us and the apartment was really lovely. We went for a walk around the base of Mt Manganui on Tuesday and a trip to McLaren Falls on Wednesday.

The weather changed and we had our first big torrential downfall of the trip which was a bit of a shock, we made our way to Auckland for our last few days in NZ and Autumn has definitely arrived 🍃🍁
