Galle fort township

We cut inside looking for somewhere to have breakfast and were seduced by a sign saying ‘best iced coffee’ (even though it looked expensive by Sri Lankan pricing standards). My gosh what a great call, definitely the best iced coffee we had ever had, Vietnamese style coffee over condensed milk and ice. Delicious! We all had juices that were to die for and the coconut cake delicious. Grand sum of $20 was an absolute steal.

We wandered the forts inner streets with its quaint shops in beautiful buildings. Mum couldn’t quite find the dress she was looking for but was fun trying stuff on.

We visited the lighthouse and had ice creams but the kids were finding the going tough, it was very hot! So we pin dropped our location for the driver to come save us!Læs mere
