Kingman

We attempted to go to the Route 66 Museum in an old powerhouse, but it was closed that day. Part of Route 66 is named after the actor Andy Devine, who grew up in Kingman. A few years ago, we visited the Desert Diamond Distillery, a craft distiller of rum. On the tour, the owner told us that this rum is meant to be drunk "neat" or straight. Of course we tasted a few, found it to be very smooth, and bought a bottle.Read more
