East on Route 66: Winslow

After Winslow became famous due to the Eagles' song, "Take it Easy", Standing on a Corner Park was created and it is a popular photo stop.

La Posada, the last great railroad hotel, was designed by Mary Colter and built by the Santa Fe Railway in 1929. It was refurbished in 1997 and re-opened to the public.
