    Pub Crawling with the Locals

    We met some very nice people in church yesterday! They invited us to go to a pub for drinks. We went to The Greyhound in the village of Tong a few miles down the hill. The Greyhound is a 16th century inn, famous for their unique Toby mugs, each representing a famous person. We even saw a George Washington. There is a cricket pitch behind the pub. It would be fun to watch cricket sometime this summer!

    Next we went to The Adelphi, a 1901 Victorian tavern in Leeds with beautiful woodwork and tiles. It was the flagship pub for the Tetley brewing company of Leeds.
