Inside All Saints Church, Aughton

The church is Norman Architecture from the 11th-12th century time frame. The chancel arch is typical, with its pointed design of zig-zags and beak heads.

There is a brass grave slab honoring Robert Aske of Aughton. He led the most serious, but peaceful, protest against Henry VIII's closing of the monasteries.Leer más
