Sick in Scarborough

We had visited a few old churches in the past week, and in particular, one that seemed very moldy. I was coughing so much that I came down with laryngitis. I had to direct our way to the next stay with sign language! One finger means take the first exit from the roundabout, two fingers means take the second exit, etc.

We are in a beautiful two bedroom, two bathrom farm cottage rental through Airbnb. It's a short distance from the coastal town of Scarborough which we hope to see at some point. We stocked up on some soup, and are hunkering down. At least we can rest with no pets to watch over, and we are very comfortable.Read more
