• Rotherham: Minster and Bridge Chapel

    We are housesitting near Rotherham, a large market and minster town, also known for its 13th century Bridge Chapel. Of the four Bridge Chapels left in England, we've now seen three! We had read that it was open for communion services on Tuesdays, but for some reason it wasn't, so we only saw the outside.

    There were some interesting buildings including Clifton Park Museum. It was built in 1783 as the family home of iron and steel business owners.
