Love of Textiles came in handy

Today we headed around to see the sites of Jaipur stopping for photos at the sites before a tour around the Amber Fort. Seeing beautiful elephants being used to transport tourists up the ramps to the fort was difficult but they were incredible to see. After the fort we headed to a textile printing shop where I was picked out of the group to learn how to block print an elephant using the traditional method. It was an amazing experience and I got to keep the sample! Later in the evening we went to a families home and were taught how to cook a traditional Indian meal.
