On the explore again!

What a great day we've had! We headed back over to the shopping area we'd visited before after finding out that further up from where we went is one of the most popular areas to visit. The day started of course with a Starbucks, we needed the WiFi I promise! After some googling we headed to a second hand shop that sells all manners of books, games and clothes. It was amazing! I could of spent hours in there looking at the hundreds and hundreds of clothes. I was after some nicer tops and a vest. Sadly no vest but I got 3 lovely tops for the grand total of 600 yen or £4 in the UK! How crazy is that! Nick was very pleased when I had finished though but secretly I'm looking up where other ones of these shops are so we can "happen" to stumble across one. I also have a few items that don't fit or I don't like so I plan to sell those to the shop if we get the chance. We also found a little temple/shrine nestled amongst the rows and rows of shops. It was such a lovely place to visit as nature had still managed to take over even in such an urbanised area. Moss covered the main statues. We stopped off for lunch before hitting a few arcades, it wouldn't be a day in japan without it! We were lucky enough to find a retro arcade upstairs in one of them which had old fashioned games to play. The only downside is you were allowed to smoke in this area so that was a little off putting but we stayed for a bit playing on the games. After more wandering and going in a few shops we headed back to face the issue of washing. Our Air B&B host said he had a washer/dryer but turns out it doesn't dry and he admitted that once we were here trying to translate Japanese on the machine. We had to buy a second washing line and with two 5m lines and some extra string we managed to hang all our clothes to dry. Hopefully they dry by Friday when we have to leave!Read more
