Lower Yellowstone Falls - Artists point

Now this stop was one you shouldn't miss - although a bit further away from the falls, it provides some awe-inspiring views of the Yellowstone River and the rugged-cut gorge that it carved beyond. Clearly a possible origin of the "yellow stone", it is no wonder it got the name "Artist Point". Photos actually turned out quite nicely here, but even then, I don't believe they do it justice - has to be seen in person to appreciate the beauty and truly be experienced.Read more
