Home sweet Home

After our unplanned detour, we had a new starter installed and drove all day to Amarillo, TX where we ate at Big Texan steak house. Spent the night in a Sams parking lot, got up and hit the road East at 7:30 AM and arrived back in Bama at 11:PM tonight. The end to our Western Adventure. Whew, what a great trip. 👍🏼

Unplanned stop

Well, it was not in the plan, but if we had to break down this was the place. We stopped to eat and re-fuel and when we got in to start the Beast, she would fire. Dx is the starter and the only one to be found was 119 miles away... We took off in the jeep and fetched it. So now waiting for it to be installed and hope and pray thats all it was. If all goes well we should be back on the road in a couple of hours. This happened yesterday around 11 am. 24 hiurs so far.Read more

Mesa Verde national park ... Cliff dwellers! wow, the drive up the moutains was breautiful, but we didnt take any pics... They just didnt do it justice. So, you need to check it out for your selves.
