  • Borough Markets!

  • Walk and High Tea

    June 27, 2019 in England ⋅ ☀️ 21 °C

After the markets we went for a 6.4 km walk around London to a High Tea restaurant (high tea is basically afternoon tea). We enjoyed a range of pastries such as...pasties and black truffle sausage rolls. We also got given scones with jam and cream. Now at this point I could barely eat any more but I still had 3 delicious cakes on my tray. Finally we got 3 different cakes. As I am allergic to nuts I was given some slightly modified nut free cakes. There was a crunchy chocolate cake filled with cream, a carrot cake topped with a cream cheese icing and a chocolate muffin. After the meal we were completely stuffed and barely made it back home. Tune in tomorrow to see what I’m doing next. Bye!!!!👋🏻Read more

  • Gropius bau/Eastside Gallery/ICE CREAM

    July 4, 2019 in Germany ⋅ ⛅ 20 °C

Today we visited 2 different galleries and both were amazing! The Gropius Bau was a big and beautiful building filled with lots of diverse art. We visited a digital museum and a photography museum. The east side gallery is an outdoor gallery along the remains of the Berlin Wall. There were many different amazing paintings with a wide variety!
We also got a bit peckish so decided to get an ice cream, the place we went to made the ice cream in the shape of a rose! It was amazing and the ice cream was absolutely delicious.
Such a great last day in Berlin!
Thanks some much to the hotel Rome for having us here in Berlin!

  • Many towns later

    July 10, 2019 in Italy ⋅ ⛅ 30 °C

Hey travel trackers, i think that’s the new group name? Over the past couple of days we’ve visited a couple of different towns they were all amazing!
The first town we went to was famous for having small houses called trulies in english that translates to beehives. They are small hut like houses! We then visited a couple of small towns that I don’t remember the names of but they were beautiful! We Kinda just walked around enjoying all the beautiful scenery! One of The most recent towns we went to was known for there amazing ice cream and super crowded beaches. This town was on the coast and had a particularly busy beach, we were planing to go to it but decided it was to crowded. So we had lunch and got an ice cream which was AMAZING. We visited a town at night last night called mattera is was not very beautiful but had lots of history. We took a guided tour and explored all over the city. The city was in layers so the roof of your house could also be a footpath or road. To top it all off we had a delicious dinner! (Except for a pasta dish I ordered, let’s just say it’s the 2nd worst thing I’ve eaten🤮)。 Today we moved into a town called lecce we will now stay here for the rest of the holidays! We were sad to leave our amazing hotel near ostuni. But have really loved our experience so far in lecce. Shoutout to ILL masseria frantoio (thx for having us) and shoutout to Maddie and Lara looks like you guys are having amazing trips!
    Keep you posted!
