Sea of Galilee

The Sea of Galilee is 1.3 miles long, 8 miles wide at the north end, about 100-150 feet deep and is almost 700 feet below sea level. Matthew chapters 8 & 14 records when Jesus calmed the storm while traveling by boat with His disciples and Jesus walked on the water in the Sea of Galilee. Peter also walked on the water for a bit until he took his eyes off of Jesus! We boarded a boat and with a brief scripture reading and a devotional, the experiences of Jesus and his fishermen disciples were brought to life.Læs mere
