The Lions' Gate

While traveling to The Lions' Gate we passed outdoor food vendors and ARF (Arab Fried Chicken). The Lions' Gate or St Stephen’s Gate is an Old City of Jerusalem Wall entrance. In Jesus' time, the gate was called the Sheep Gate, because this was where sheep were brought to the Temple for sacrifice. The Lions' Gate is an entrance into the Muslim Quarter.Read more
