• Last day chilling

    March 28 in Poland ⋅ ☀️ 16 °C

Our last day was chilled, full of food and sunshine. We went for breakfast at Neighbors kitchen and had an amazing breakfast. I had a shaushoka and ginger infused tea and Brandon a polish breakfast of eggs, sausage and salad. After a walk in the sunshine we went back to pack and clean so we could enjoy the rest of the day. We found a lovely large sun bed by the city sign. Enjoying an ice cream, people and boat watching we spent the rest of the morning there. On the hunt for a pint we settled into the Elephant restaurant watching the world go by then hearing parade music we looked up to see Polish Navy parading by the side of us. After a quick Google search we found out that today is Gdansk Independence Day. Unfortunately the service was in Polish but we enjoyed it nevertheless. Our day ended with us having a meal in Swojski Smak. Unfortunately the sun had got to us and we could not finish the meals but it was nice to go out.
A beautiful week in Gdansk and although we travelled nearly all of it on foot, by tram, train and bus we feel it still has a lot more to offer.
