Day 20 san Miniato to Galleno

The morning started fighting wet weeds waist height but then it led j to a place called Fuccechio. Sat the piazza to dry my feet and had a late breakfast of cappuccino and donut and a chinotto drink that tasted like a cross between sasparella and bitters. Very refreshing talking to Jim while I drink. I think one of the bridges I crossed was over the Arno river. I missed it so it can’t be that grand yet. The Next leg of the day took me through a town called Ponte a Cappiano. Famous for it covered over bridge. A rebuilt Medici bridge and the Cappiano hill behind it. Their is now a Ostello in the bridge.. The last part was through forest 4 wheel drive tracks ending at Galleno where my room mate was Erina a psychologist from the Veneto region.
