• Day 46 Driving

    29. mai 2019, Australia ⋅ 🌙 23 °C

It was a long driving day today but we did stop in some places to have a look around.
The first town we stopped in was Fitzroy Crossing where we visited two Aboriginal art galleries. The first one had lots of different dot paintings and animal sketches. The second one didn't have much at all, so while Mum and Dad looked around Jessica, Ryley and I played in the big playground across the road.
Next we visited the Information Centre where we bought an amazing Aboriginal carved Boab nut.
We spent our lunchtime stop with a herd of cows at Mary Pool. The next town was Halls Creek. We visited the Information Centre where we investigated what we could do in Kununurra. While in Halls Creek we also went shopping for supplies.
We ended up in a free camp just out of Halls Creek called Spring Creek. After some exploring we found a dead cow in the dried up riverbed. Tomorrow we are going to explore Kununurra.
