The Joy of Young People

It is so gratifying to gather together in celebration. Smiles all around. Everybody is happy. We put our work lives on hold to savor these moments.

The day began with pancake breakfast followed by a relaxing morning leading up to the afternoon ceremony.

We sat at Assembly Hall waiting for the ceremony to begin, and it was a pleasant wait.

Fortunately, this was for masters and doctoral students only, so the crowd was reasonable.

Afterward, we gathered at the lake condo we rented and enjoyed BBQ and togetherness.

The kids opened graduation gifts and talked about the best and worst of the years and years of study.
