Whistlers Mountain, Jasper National Park

After taking the tram up to the lower summit of Whistlers Mountain, we then hiked to the upper summit. The trail looks easy, but after starting the hike up, you quickly discover the air is a lot thinner at 7424 ft above sea level. After several breaks along the way, we finally reached the summit at 8080 ft above sea level where we had some fun taking pictures and exploring the top of the mountain! The tram was packed going up, but nobody climbed up to the summit with us, so it felt as though we had this mountain to ourselves - what an incredible experience! The sun was starting to set, so we started to make our descent. Next stop...supper! We decided to pick up a pizza at a recommended pizza place in town, and had to pick up a takeout order of the poutine we had the other night...it was that good that we had to have it again!
