Paris for the night

I am having difficulty getting to grips with this Find Penguins! This is the third time I have written this footprint and it keeps disappearing. So ...... arrived at Gare du Nord to find a lot of English people in the bars and cafes for the football against France. Heavy presence of heavily armed gendarmerie which is both strangely comforting and worrying at the same time. The delightfully clean and modern Ibis Hotel is adequate for our needs and within spitting distance of the Gare de L'Est for tomorrow's railway journey. A small repast of cheese for me and mussels for Ted was partaken of before we retired for the night in readiness for another busy day tomorrow.Read more
