• Tongariro River Walk

    Today we went for what the locals call tramping. We walked along the street and then passed over a suspension bridge and continued hiking north along the riverside until we finally reached the top of a nearby lookout on a hill overlooking the town and the river. We then looped back on the township side of the river and found our way back to the holiday apartments stopping on the way for coffee. Tonight we had drinks and dinner with the other guests at the lodge.Read more
