Dinner in the Dark

A lazy morning to start as Melissa was completing a few work tasks and John was mastering Sudoku. Just before lunch we walked along the "Tamaki Drive Walk" from Mission Bay to St Heliers. Before heading back we had fish and chips at a local cafe. At night we went into Auckland CBD and walked around Wynyard Quarter before experiencing "Dinner in the Dark". Dinner at start was a little uncomfortable as everything is black. Once we were used to talking to people around us and eating in the complete dark we then understood what it is like for people who are blind or sight impaired.Read more
