Locks entering Danube Canal

End of the day. Everyone out on deck this afternoon watching as the Captain takes us through the locks leaving the Main and entering The Danube.

Total of 16 locks Bamburg to Nuremberg across the continental water divide to Kelheim and the Danube. The locks are the really high locks some go as far up as 25 meters. Watching the Captain go through the very narrow locks is fascinating.Læs mere
