Rousse

This trip just keeps showing us new things. Whilst this is an other ex communist city it does have a bit more character about it. The main city still has the horrible buildings but Rousse is not as depressing.

Present day Rousse is the fifth largest Bulgarian city and is an important economic, financial and cultural hub and is located on the South bank of the Danube. It is sometimes called Little Vienna. Nothing so far makes me think of Vienna.Read more
