Jungle walk to Crocodile Breading Centre

    8 mai 2019, Népal ⋅ ☀️ 33 °C

Off the canoe and a short jungle walk with an explanation about the plants we passed before we arrived at a crocodile breeding centre.

This was quite interesting as apparently the gharial crocodile are endangered and the centre is assisting in breading them and releasing them back into the wild.

Gangetic crocodiles known as Gharials or Mugars, eggs are hatched, brought up, and released into rivers after 8 years.
