Sounds of Silence Dinner

Then dinner.

The food was average but still fun and worth doing at least once. We sat with an interesting group of people, a couple from Blue Mountains who live in Newcastle at the moment, another couple from Newcastle who work in the city so during the week they live in Glebe, a couple from Tasmania and a couple from the Northern Beaches in Narrabeen. Conversation was very varied.

During dinner there was an incredible presentation about the stars. The talk was extremely informative and funny at the same time.

Time for dessert and port, again quite basic but the whole group of 93 people sang Happy Birthday to me, and I was even presented with my own special dessert.

All in all, a very special night to celebrate my 65th birthday.Read more
