    The bridge is a famous colonial era railway viaduct known for its architecture in a jungle setting. The bridge was designed to accommodate a nine degree curve and steep gradient. It was built by local labor under British supervision. The bridge was completed in 1919.

    It was a really interesting experience being on the train and the crowds of people watching the train.
