Searching for Leopards

Well, this was our usual "been there and did not see this" safari. Four hours of bumpy dirt tracks passing lots of Jeeps but no elephants, sloth bears or leopards. Fingers crossed tomorrow is better.

After our safari it was time for drinks around the camp fire where we chatted with a Scottish family who currently live in London.

Leopard Sighted

Spotted our first leopard. Fingers crossed we actually see a real one.
Searching for Leopards

Still no leopards although 1 was spotted early morning. No elephants or sloth bears either. Lots of birds, a jackel, snake, lizard and crocodiles.
Breakfast

We stopped for breakfast and soon after settling in a leopard was spotted somewhere in the park. Our driver took off, racing to look for it, but it was not to be seen.

We had a great time today, our driver and guide both excellent during our 11 hour safari.
Especially with the special treat of finding a leopard.

The food here is not the best. A cold very oily vegetable tempura, onion soup which tasted sort of ok but cold. 1 overcooked chicken drumstick covered in bottled BBQ sauce. Some weird lookingLue lisää
