    Kaiteriteri BeachSplit Apple Rock; ~135 million yrs old. The granite splits along natural fault lines.To disembark, the boat casts out a 'pier' from which we just walk off!

    We decided to ride the ferry from Kaiteriteri up to the end, & stayed on for the return disembarking at Anchorage where we did a little loop hike just to start our experience w/ the ferry.
