    Hey partner is a black chinned hummingbird. I saw him yesterday when I was changing out the nectar.
    The start of the trail.I saw this decomposing log. Those insects are doing a great job.The trail was sometimes covered under a canopy.The Santa Cruz River ran along the trail. Up by us, it goes underground.Tumacacori. This is a chuck originally built by the Jesuits in the 1700s. More pics of this later.Inside the building.This building was divided in half. The left side housed the property, the right side was storage.InsideProtest room in the front, storage in the back.The entrance to the cemetery. The round building is last rights for the deceased.The cemetery.Storage facility for all the crops grown.Oven kiln where limestone was baked, then crushed into powder for use in the mortar for the walls.Festivities were held here.     Anza Trail and Tumacacori Nat'l Park

    We have an acacia tree in the back yard where I have hung a hummingbird feeder. They have come!! We went for a four mile walk along the trail then to the Tumacacori National Park.
