No path but very green and trees have leafed.
There were old rail cars along the path. This was due to a huge flood in the early 1900s.Old rail cars in front and new rail in the back. The rail had followed the river but no longer. After yesterday's rain, the river was moving alongMy favorite shot! We did scare up a cow( actually she really scared us).We stopped at a historical marker on our way home2This was a memorial site by parents for their sons to be safe when sent to the war.1This was at the top of the stairs. You could enter thru that gate where numerous candles burned.1This and the next 4 pics were taken inside the memorial accessed thru that gate.1More on the outside of the memorialAnother marker asking the road where Camp Crittenden was located. No sign of that camp anywhere.

    Anza Trail / Loop Home

We went for a walk along the Anza Trail south of Tubac. We were going to go in the opposite direction but there was no trail, only the signs for the trail. Thus, we ended up doing a walk we had previously done. After, we looped to Nogales and north thru Patagonia and Senoita. Great drive except for the paint striping truck we had to follow. They went 7 mph! Tried everyone's patience!Leggi altro
