Many ocotillo had buds but they weren't open yet.

Notched leaf scorpion weed. You had to really look hard. Close to the ground.

Desert star. These were also tiny and next to the ground.

Saw this little rabbit under a bush along the trail.

Mountain Desert Park/ Brown trail

Today we took a long walk in the desert ( maybe too long!!). Many flowers were blooming. Cacti everywhere! If you see a cloud in the pics let me know!! 73⁰ but felt like 85⁰! We were very tired when done. We didn't encounter any folks. Only had 6 mountain bikes pass us and that was it. Our own personal desert walk.Read more
