    The ranch
    No shade anywhereLocation of the trailPlants around the area support the monarch butterfly.The only person that died during the trek was a woman that gave birth to a boy.Sure of where the woman passed.No shade here either. Last year the trail had flowers on both sides. This year nothing.Devil's claw.     We chose to walk this trail today. We had been on part of it last year but from the other direction. It was 76⁰ when we started and 88⁰ when we ended. A little too warm for a desert walk with no shade.Read more
